COP28, a Prophetic Event, Scheduled for December 12, 2023
Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10, ESV). If you read Fight Like Heaven, you understand the seeds of the enemy have been sown into the agendas of the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, and Agenda 2030 to birth a New World Order that will be brought about through a climate agenda, which is unfolding before our eyes.
The pandemic prepared the way with fear, isolation, and the breakdown of law as emergency orders took precedence over laws and constitutional freedoms. In churches, there was a great falling away. The next trick up their sleeve is to use a “climate emergency” to unite the world under a global elitist control. To accomplish their mission, nations of the world will convene at the end of 2023 and agree to the terms of a seven-year covenant to realize their Agenda 2030 goals. This meeting is called COP28.
On March 8, 2023, on International Women’s Day (started by socialist countries), the UN announced there were just 40 weeks to go to reach COP28, which is being held December 12, 2023. “The ‘Conference of the Parties,’ known as COP, is the decision-making body responsible for monitoring and reviewing the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It brings together the 197 nations and territories—called Parties—that signed on to the Framework Convention. The COP has met annually since 1995.” The 21st session was held in Paris, and from it the Paris Climate Accord emerged, the first international climate agreement.”1 Dr. Sultan Al Jaber from Saudi Arabia is the President-Designate for the COP28.2
If you recall, one of the first actions President Donald Trump enacted was to remove the US from the Paris Climate Accord, which was a huge reason the WEF leaders said Trump must be removed. At the 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, President Donald Trump was a strong voice for a united America, letting the world know that our nation was stronger and more prosperous than ever. I was moved when I re-listened to his speech to see just what has been undone in the last four years in an effort to deteriorate America. Here are parts of his speech:
I am here today to represent the interests of the United States of America … America hopes for a future that every person can prosper… a safe home, a great job… the stock market is smashing one record after another. We have created 2.4 million jobs… small business optimism is at an all- time high… African American employment is at an all-time ever recorded historical high in the United States, and we have lowered taxes… cut 22 burdensome regulations to free our businesses and workers as never before… I believe in America. As President of the United States, I will always put America first. America first does not mean America alone. When America grows, so does the world …. We support free trade, but it needs to be fair trade… When people are forgotten, it ceases to be free … a nations’ greatness is the sum of its citizens, pride, devotion, love of the people who call that nation home…. Let us resolve to use our power not for ourselves but for the good of the people…. We have a whole new United States. There is a tremendous spirit. God bless you all.3
Joe Biden, however, immediately placed the US back in the Paris Climate Accords on his first day in office.4 Under the Paris Agreement, all countries agreed to take collective measures “to limit global temperature rise to well below 2 degrees Celsius and … to strive for 1.5 degrees Celsius.”5
Their goals require all nations and corporations to take a “stake” in accomplishing these goals. They also require extensive changes in business and lifestyles (aka giving up freedoms), especially in developed, prosperous countries like the US.6 In doing so, free enterprise and freedom are being strong-armed to obey the dictates of the UN and World Economic Forum’s agendas over their country’s best interest. This prompted the backlash atmosphere, birthing the “America First Agenda,” and winning Donald Trump his election. His agenda was completely against the world elites’ plans to bring the US into the New World Order.
So, what are the goals of the COP in the 40 weeks leading up to the COP28 on December 12, 2023 in Abu Dhabi (UAE), a prophetic event? Interestingly, before the COP28 meeting, Prince Charles of Wales (now King Charles) spelled out a program to accelerate sustainability measures to coincide with COP28, positioning himself to lead the world in this plan.
As part of the Sustainable Markets Initiative, the former Prince of Wales, launched the Terra Carta in 2021—a mandate that puts sustainability at the heart of the private sector. Marking a year since the former Prince of Wales announced his Sustainable Markets Initiative at Davos in 2020, the Terra Carta is the guiding mandate for the Sustainable Markets Initiative, providing a proposed set of principles to 2030 that puts Nature, People and Planet at the heart of global value creation.
Deriving its name from the historic Magna Carta, which inspired a belief in the fundamental rights and liberties of people over 800 years ago, the Terra Carta aims to reunite people and planet, by giving fundamental rights and value to Nature, ensuring a lasting impact and tangible legacy for this generation.
In the 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Leaders statement, the leaders of all 56 Commonwealth Countries commended His Majesty King Charles, III, when he was Prince of Wales, on the creation of the Terra Carta for Nature, People, and Planet, and recognised its value as a blueprint for public-private collaboration in making markets sustainable for the future.
The C40, a global network of mayors, from 96 of the world’s leading cities have also affirmed their support for the Sustainable Market’s Initiative, including the blueprint set out in the Terra Carta for the transition to a sustainable future.7
Their stated goals of the Terra Carta are a “Green & Just Transition: A green and just transition champions inclusivity and equity, resilient communities, sustainable development and the urgent need for quality green jobs for all.”8 Their “evidence” for a green and just transition emanated from the COVID-19 pandemic. They state:
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has highlighted the inextricable link between health, the environment, and the economy, the C40 Global Mayors COVID-19 Recovery Task Force carried out analysis and modeling in late 2020 to determine what could happen if the world’s major cities collectively prioritized a green and just recovery.
The report assessed the potential impact of green and just recovery packages on GHG emissions, health, employment and economic investment. Six representative cities were included in the analysis to provide illustrative results from the regions where most C40 member cities are located, including Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia.”9
Climate meetings are being held in these cities with strategies set to reach their climate goals and bring their “projects to the December 12th meeting at which time the nations of the world will enter into a Global ‘Covenant.’”10
The Terra Carta Accelerator Initiative, released on May 5, 2023 is being developed in response to King Charles III’s challenge to the Sustainable Markets Initiative to develop five land-based and five water-based initiatives per year through 2030.11 Their stated goal is to reduce emissions by 40 percent (almost half of the world’s emissions) in the next seven years, which will impact gas, travel, food… everything.
Control the energy and food, and you control nations. They are selling the plan as “prosperity” but implementing it by enforcing strict limitations and removing freedoms. If they succeed, gone are the days of taking a vacation outside of your immediate area and perhaps even a drive in the country. Gone are the days of starting your own business and having funding, when necessary, to grow it. Gone are the days where parents have rights over their children instead of the UN, just as we learned that our body, our choice only applies to abortion—not to our choice over vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their goal is to create a 15-minute city where people live en masse (think China), and have all they need within a 15-mile zone, or perhaps even in their apartment building.12 In doing so, cars are replaced with mass transit, cycling, or walking, or electric cars are required for any longer-distance travel. Companies cannot do business unless they agree to the requirements forced on them, not from their state or even federal government, but rather from the global “community.” The biggest feature of this structure is governance—who will govern who.
When you see things like COP28 happening across the earth, Luke 21:28 (BSB) tells us to “look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near!” God’s Word is an anchor for such times until we see that Day. We have been made victorious!
