Unstoppable Faith: Rising Up to Protect Our Families and Values
The first woman was created from the rib of a man—not to rule over him but to stand beside him as a powerful partner. We are designed by God to be warrior princesses—strong, purposeful, and equipped to fulfill the callings He has placed on our lives. From Esther’s courage to Deborah’s leadership, from Ruth’s loyalty to Jael’s bravery, women have always played a bold role in God’s story. And today, Christian women are rising up once again. We are called to bring God’s Kingdom to Earth, to shape history, and to stand as a force that cannot be silenced.
This call was recently answered in a powerful gathering in Washington, DC. Amid the chaos and confusion of our times, 375,000 women, along with their husbands and children, gathered together in person, and millions more joined online. They came with a hunger for spiritual renewal, a desire to bring repentance to a nation that has lost its way. They marched, prayed, and cried out to God, united in faith, determined to take a stand against the darkness encroaching on our country.
It’s awe-inspiring to see so many women rising up, fearless and unwavering, to protect our families, our faith, and our freedoms.
One of these women is Grace Lin, a young woman who traveled all the way from Los Angeles. Her words cut to the heart of why this gathering mattered: “If we don’t stand now … then the enemy will take over our country. If that happens, that’s the end.” Grace, like so many others, recognizes that this isn’t just a moment. It’s a movement of God’s people standing together to defend what is sacred.
This gathering wouldn’t have been possible without the prophetic dream and bold vision of Lou Engle, who felt God’s call to bring one million women to Washington, DC, to reclaim God’s authority over America. This isn’t just about politics; it’s about a spiritual awakening and standing up for truth.
Many came despite opposition and hardship. LaTrece Curry drove to Washington from Ohio with her husband and four children. Previously, she was a liberal and explained that her decision to attend the event caused a great deal of animosity between herself and her family.
And while skeptics claimed the gathering would lead to unrest or violence, God had different plans. This was a peaceful, powerful display of unity and faith. There was not a single act of violence, no hostility—just thousands of women, steadfast and prayerful, lifting up their voices in a movement that is bringing God’s light back to our nation.
Many live in fear of what might come if Harris wins, but we, as believers, know a deeper truth. No matter who sits in office or what trials come, God is on the throne; and He already has the victory.
Phil Heilman, from Florida, who traveled with his wife to the march, captured this well: “If that happens, it’s not going to be a political solution. God will provide other opportunities to take the country back that will be more surreptitious, or underground … one way or another, righteousness will prevail.”
Yes, Warriors, righteousness will prevail—but only if we do our part. This movement cannot be just a one-day event. While it’s powerful to gather and march together, the real battle happens in our daily lives, in our homes, and in our communities. This is where we can truly stand for truth and protect what we hold dear.
Right now, our children are under attack. Schools push harmful agendas, teaching our children that they can change their genders, they don’t have to listen to their parents, and that standing for traditional values is somehow “bigoted.” Libraries are filled with books promoting explicit content, while many call for these same books to be banned from children’s reach. Meanwhile, the government tries to strip away our freedoms and take away our right to bear arms and defend ourselves. These are real battles, and I’ve covered them in my books They Are Coming for Your Children: The Fight We Must Win; Fight Like Heaven! A Cultural Guide to Living on Guard; and A Call to Arms: Your Quick Start to Fight Like Heaven! Equip yourself with the truth!
Warriors, we must be diligent. We cannot rely solely on a single-day prayer march in Washington, DC, no matter how inspiring it may have been. We need to be warriors every day—in our prayer closets, with Bibles in hand, and in worship, lifting the name of the Lord. Stand boldly with the Sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith.
In times like these, there is strength in fellowship. Surround yourself with fellow worshippers of God who are unafraid to stand against the forces of darkness. Let joy shine through you, no matter the battles you face, because we know the end of this story: God wins, and He reigns victorious! The enemy has already been defeated! Hold onto this truth with confidence and joy. Take heart, Warriors, and rejoice in the victory that is already ours!
