The Kind of Fruit That Lasts

 In Articles, Growth, Happy Life

Jesus never called believers to simply survive.

He called them to bear fruit.

Not temporary fruit.

Not seasonal fruit.

Fruit that remains.

In a culture driven by opinions, criticism, and constant distraction, it’s easy to lose sight of what God actually desires from our lives. We can become busy with activity while producing very little that carries eternal value.

Jesus offers something different.

He invites us into a life so deeply connected to Him that everything we do flows from His presence. That kind of life leaves a lasting impact.

You Were Chosen for a Purpose

Many people spend their lives searching for purpose. They wonder if God has a plan, if He sees them, if their lives matter.

Jesus answers those questions clearly.

Before you ever chose Him, He chose you. He appointed you not to simply exist, not to blend into the crowd but to bear fruit that reflects His character and advances His Kingdom.

Purpose isn’t something you have to invent. It’s something you discover as you remain connected to Christ.

“He already chose you. He appointed you.”

A Carnal Mind Produces Division

One of the greatest obstacles to bearing lasting fruit is an unrenewed mind.

Scripture teaches that the things of God often seem foolish to the natural mind.

Without God’s perspective, it’s easy to become critical, fault-finding, negative, offended, and focused on tearing others down rather than building them up.

These attitudes may seem normal in today’s culture, but they are not the culture of God’s Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit produces something entirely different: love, joy, peace, patience, and a sound mind.

When our thinking changes, our words begin to change. When our words change, our lives begin to produce different fruit.

“We are not going to be carnally minded.”

Fruit Begins at the Root

Healthy fruit never exists apart from healthy roots.

Jesus compared our relationship with Him to branches connected to a vine.

Branches don’t struggle to produce fruit. They simply remain connected.

The same is true spiritually. We don’t produce lasting fruit by trying harder. We produce lasting fruit by remaining close to Christ.

Time in His Word.

Time in prayer.

Time listening for His voice.

His life flows through us, and His life produces fruit that remains.

“Your fruit and my fruit will only remain if we remain in Him and His Word remains in us.”

Choose to Build, Not Tear Down

Our words reveal what fills our hearts.

It’s easy to join conversations filled with criticism, to repeat gossip, to focus on everything that’s wrong.

But God’s people are called to something higher.

We have been entrusted with good news: hope, life, and truth.

The question isn’t whether we have something to say. The question is whether what we’re saying reflects the heart of Christ.

Every conversation becomes an opportunity to either strengthen someone or discourage them.

Choose words that build.

Choose words that heal.

Choose words that point people toward Jesus.

“We are anointed to preach good news to the poor.”

Fruit That Outlives You

The greatest measure of success isn’t popularity, or influence, or recognition.

It’s whether your life produces fruit that remains.

Lives changed.

People encouraged.

Children introduced to Jesus.

Families restored.

Hope restored.

The Kingdom advances one life at a time.

The fruit God grows through your life today has the potential to impact generations you may never meet.

Remain in Him.

Stay connected to His Word.

Renew your mind.

Speak life.

Trust His promises.

And watch Him produce fruit that lasts far beyond anything you could accomplish in your own strength.
