AI Is Here—But So Is God!

In Articles, Drenda On Guard, Government

Technology is advancing faster than ever, and one of the biggest shifts we’re seeing is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Everywhere you turn, there’s talk about AI replacing jobs, writing books, making decisions, and even thinking for us. It’s incredible—and a little concerning at the same time.

So, how should we, as believers, respond to this massive shift? Should we embrace AI? Fear it? Ignore it?

Let’s talk about it.

AI: A Tool, Not a Master

First, let me say this: AI is not the enemy. But how we use it and how we allow it to influence our lives matters.

Technology has always been a tool—whether it’s the printing press, the Internet, or now, AI. It can be used to spread truth or to manipulate and control people.

That’s why we need wisdom.

The Bible says:

Wise people store up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

—Proverbs 10:14 (NKJV)

In other words, don’t be blind to what’s happening. AI is changing how businesses operate, how people consume information, and even how truth is presented. But let’s remember: a machine should never take the place of God’s wisdom, creativity, or purpose in your life.

The Dangers of AI

AI is already shaping the way people think and interact. But there are dangers if we don’t stay discerning.

🔹 AI can spread deception – Deepfake videos, false information, and AI-generated news can manipulate what people believe. We have to stay rooted in God’s truth, not man’s version of it.

🔹 AI can replace human thinking – When we let AI do all the work, we stop thinking critically and creatively. God gave us minds for a reason! Don’t outsource your wisdom to a machine.

🔹 AI can be used for control – Some governments and corporations are using AI to monitor and control people. As believers, we should be aware of how technology is being used to shape culture and make decisions that align with truth.

Using AI for Kingdom Purposes

Instead of running from AI, what if we used it to advance the Kingdom?

💡 Imagine using AI to spread the Gospel faster than ever before.
💡 Imagine harnessing AI to free up time for ministry, family, and faith.
💡 Imagine leading in innovation, instead of being left behind.

The world needs Kingdom leaders in every space—even in technology! AI isn’t going away, but we can choose to use it wisely while keeping God at the center of everything we do.

The Future Belongs to God

At the end of the day, we don’t put our trust in technology, governments, or trends. We put our trust in the One who created the universe.

AI may be powerful—but it’s not all-powerful.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.

—Psalm 24:1 (NKJV)

No technology can override God’s plan for your life, your purpose, and His Church. AI may be shaping the future, but guess what? God already holds the future in His hands!

Let’s Pray:

Lord, give us wisdom in this age of technology. Help us to be discerning, to use tools wisely, and to always put You first. Let us be leaders, not followers, and use every resource for Your glory. In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen!

🚀 AI is here—but so is God’s wisdom. Let’s walk boldly into the future with faith, not fear!
